Professional Staffing Standards

We do not utilize unlicensed "handymen" for regulated plumbing tasks. Our team consists exclusively of:

  • Licensed Master Plumbers: Providing high-level engineering and oversight.
  • Licensed Journeyman Plumbers: Certified for professional field installation.
  • Registered Plumber Apprentices: Working under the direct, on-site supervision of a licensed professional as mandated by Michigan state law.

Insurance and Liability Coverage

For the protection of our clients’ property and our workforce, All Grit Plumbing maintains comprehensive insurance coverage that meets or exceeds the recommended Michigan standards:

  • General Liability Insurance: Minimum coverage of $1,000,000 to protect your property against accidental damage.
  • Workers’ Compensation: Mandatory state-compliant coverage for all employees to ensure the homeowner is held harmless in the event of an on-site injury.
  • Commercial Auto Liability: Full coverage for all service vehicles operating on your property.

Municipal Permits and Code Compliance

All plumbing installations, alterations, and repairs are performed to the standards of the Michigan Plumbing Code and local municipal ordinances.

  • Permit Processing: All Grit Plumbing handles the application and procurement of necessary permits for major works (e.g., gas lines, new sewer laterals, or water heater replacements) within our service areas, including Waterford, Clarkston, and Rochester Hills.
  • Authority of Jurisdiction: We coordinate all required municipal inspections. The client acknowledges that local building inspectors have the final authority on code interpretation and approval.

Scope of Professional Advice

The information provided on this website is for general informational purposes only.

  • No Professional-Client Relationship: Accessing this site does not establish a professional relationship. Such a relationship is only formed once a service agreement is signed or a dispatch fee is paid.
  • Site-Specific Variables: Because Oakland County plumbing (e.g., Drayton Plains or the Cass Lake area) is subject to unique environmental factors like high iron content and seasonal deep freezes, online advice cannot replace a physical, on-site diagnostic.

Workmanship Warranty

  • Warranty Period: We provide a [Insert Period, e.g., 1-Year] limited warranty on our labor and craftsmanship.
  • Exclusions: This warranty is void if the system is altered by an unlicensed individual or if damage results from "acts of God" (e.g., freezing, flooding) or external factors beyond our control. Hardware and fixtures are subject to their respective Manufacturer Warranties.
